Meet Jeanne

I love interacting with kids because they keep me feeling young!  I enjoy seeing their energy and passion and I’m greatly encouraged by witnessing their thirst for God!  Serving in YBC has given me the opportunity to push the young people in their walks with God.  Proverbs 3: 5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding: in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight."  is my favorite verse and I would like to help the YBC-ers learn to trust God with all their hearts too. 

BACBC has been my home church since my parents and I began attending in 1993.  I also attended CCS from K-12th grade.  I am extremely grateful for the teachers and role models I had growing up because they taught me what it meant to live a life for God.  It was because of them that I felt spiritually prepared to go to college, begin working, and face the 'real world.'  I truly feel very blessed to have had a place to nurture me to become who I am today.  And I hope and pray that I can make even a small impact on the youth's lives to live a life for God as well. 

Music plays a big part in my life.  I listen to a little bit of everything, but a few standouts are Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, Carrie Underwood, Beyonce, Michael Buble, Colbie Caillat, and any upbeat-danceable song.  My favorite movies are musicals like The Sound of Music, Dreamgirls, and High School Musical.  I am even somewhat musical myself as I used to play the snare drum and horizontal bell in high school and currently play the piano.  Other than movies, I also like to watch Grey’s Anatomy, Friends, Frasier, and various shows on the food network.  My least favorite animal is a snake.  Don’t come near me with a snake.  If you do, I will get scared and run away!
