Meet Erick

Hi!  My name is Erick and I work in the banking industry.  I have one mother, one father, one brother, and one dog.  Serving in YBC is a new adventure every week, like Indiana Jones or something.  My life verse is Phil. 4:4-9: 

            “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say rejoice!  Let your gentle spirit be known to all men.  The Lord is near.  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.  The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”  

I love to eat Cheetos and drink flat Coca-Cola.  That’s right!  Shake the bottle ‘til there’s no more bubbles!  It’s the best!!!  I like to listen to Christian, disco, oldies, and jazz music with Mercy Me, David Crowder, Neil Sedaka, Marvin Gaye, and David Benoit as some of my favorites.  I love watching reruns of Full House, Family Matters, and Dukes of Hazard.  But I don’t only watch old reruns.  I like to watch some new stuff too like 24, CSI, Myth Busters, and, of course, Star Trek.  I’m a huge Trekkie.  One last thing: if I ever get the chance, I’d love to take a leisurely trip around the world and then cap it off with a trip into outer space!
